The mission of The RAVE is to provide quality year-round training and competition opportunities to Special Olympics athletes. To ensure a successful program, the Local Sports Management Team (LSMT) coordinates the activities of The RAVE by following guidelines created by Special Olympics Minnesota. The members of the LSMT hold specific positions, as noted below, with defined duties to better serve the team’s needs. The LSMT meets monthly to develop and implement a plan of action including a budget, provide team oversight and guidance, and determine and monitor The RAVE’s programs and services.
