Requirements
Athletes with an up-to-date athlete application and medical form on file with Special Olympics Minnesota are eligible to participate. These forms need to be updated every three years.

Poly Hockey Season
The 2024 season starts on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, and runs through March.
Practices
Poly Hockey, also known as Floor Hockey, is played on the gym floor. Practices for the 2024 season are on Wednesday evenings, 6:00 – 7:30 pm at Valley Middle School and Southview Elementary in Apple Valley.
Important: Athletes need to provide their own helmet and plastic hockey stick. Please check with the head coach BEFORE purchasing equipment to get information on the type of helmet and hockey stick needed. Sticks will be available for purchase at the registration meeting.
Events
RAVE currently has four poly hockey teams which are organized by ability level.
Competition
Regional Competition: The regional competition will take place January 25-26, 2025 (location to be determined).
State Competition: The state competition will take place March 8 and 9, 2025, at Stillwater Hight School.
