Requirements

Athletes with an up-to-date athlete application and medical form on file with Special Olympics Minnesota are eligible to participate.   These forms need to be updated every year.

Registration

The registration fee is $35 per athlete. Please mail the registration form and payment (check or cash) to The RAVE, P.O. Box 122, Rosemount, MN 55068-9906. Checks should be made payable to The RAVE.

Registration deadline is May 28, 2026.

Tennis Season

The tennis season starts on Thursday, June 4, 2026, and goes through August 13, 2026. There is a parent/caregiver meeting on the first night from 6:30-7:00 p.m. on the courts. There is no practice on July 2.

Practice location and time

Practices are Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, 17976 Judicial Road, Lakeville.

Competition

Regional competition: No regional competition.

State competition: August 22, 2026, Fred Wells Tennis Center, 100 Federal Dr, St. Paul

• Unified Doubles
• Individual Skills Event that offer meaningful competition for athletes that do not compete in the tennis matches.
